CREDO

CREDO is a ‘course for the curious’... in other words, it’s a course for everyone, from those who have been going to church for donkeys years, to those for whom the very thought of crossing the threshold of the church porch fills them full of trepidation! CREDO is the Latin word for ‘believe’, it’s where we get the word Creed from. It’s very surprising what people think they know about the Church and Christian Faith and spirituality, there is a great deal of misunderstanding about and this is your chance to come and find out what Christians really believe.

If you are already a church member then this could be just what you need to ‘refresh’ yourself and begin to learn again the central beliefs of Christianity and why it is we hold to those beliefs.

The course will be held in the comfortable (and warm!) front room of the Vicarage each Wednesday evening (unless stated) from February 11th, 2009 and will run through Lent until Holy Week. We will begin at 7.45pm and each session will last no longer than 1 ½ hours. There will be some teaching, discussion and the chance for questions, and the only expectation we have of you is to come with an open and enquiring mind!
